Google - In 2023,An American multinational technology company focusing on search engine technology, computer software, quantum computing, cloud computing, online advertising, artificial intelligence, e-commerce, and consumer electronics stated to lay off more than 12,000 employees this year. due to short demand and of the COVID-19 pandemic hit budget. Google CEO wrote "This will mean saying goodbye to some incredibly talented people we worked hard to hire and have loved working with. I’m deeply sorry for that. The fact that these changes will impact the lives of Googlers weighs heavily on me, and I take full responsibility for the decisions that led us here."

Cisco Systems - In 2023, Cisco Systems announced plans to cut around 673 jobs in the San Francisco Bay, 371 jobs at its location San Jose  

Amazon - In 2023, Amazon again announced plans to cut around 18,000 jobs


Meta - In 2022, Child company of Facebook announced laying off 30%  about 11,000 employees due to challenges facing  to its core business and shares to sink nearly 20%.

Ford - In 2022, the automaker announced plans to cut around 3,000 jobs in North America

Wells Fargo - In 2022, Wells Fargo announced plans to cut hundreds of jobs.

Walmart - In 2022, Walmart announced plans to cut around 1500 jobs from Stores to improve efficiency and reduce costs..


ExxonMobil - In 2020, ExxonMobil announced plans to cut around 14,000 jobs about 15% globally
